愛走路。
對現代生活來說,有點不切實際。
之前工作室在中環,但經常也要到Para/Site藝術空間,來回乘車的話,兩頭不到岸,最好的方法是由荷李活道一直步行,路程差不多十五分鐘,是很好的運動。
經伊利近街。餓了,便在大排檔吃碗特濃牛脯尹麵, 旁邊的婆婆有賣鬆脆好吃的蛋黃餅。晚飯後,可以來碗潤口糖水,或者到aha喝杯健康花茶,呷啖解悶酒。
大熱天,涼茶舖的透心涼蔗汁,和那些舊警察宿舍下的老榕樹,便變成中途店,沒有這兩種東西,中暑數回也不可能到達目的地。
香港就是這樣,習慣了,便會變。
大排檔再見。
老榕樹,前途未卜。
不是太念舊,只怕單一性。Citysuper是好,但那裏皆是,生活便開始乏味。有時,帶點「朝聖」的心態到處走,像個初到香港的遊客,開心得多。
就是這種心態,所以愛走路。
還有,對我來說,新樹古樹,只要是好樹,愈多愈好。

Indeed, walking is usually the best way to get to know a city. I love walking around in HK because there are so many little nooks and corners to be explored. There's always something interesting to be found in some little lane along some little street.
And yeah, people often underestimate the importance of trees. Their presence really serves to beautify the environment and enhance a city's character. That's why i like going to the New Territories and the islands whenever I'm in HK--'cos there's much more greenery there!
And a pity too about the disappearing Dai Pai Dongs! They're one of the best things about HK!!! Sometimes governments can be so dumb.
